While many strive to create long, thick eyelash with an eyelash curler and mascara, it’s not always attainable. Eyelash extensions have grown in popularity because they make it as easy as a trip to Advanced Skin and Body Solutions every few months to achieve a bright, wide-eyed look without having to put in the work daily. A Lash Lift differs in that it allows both men and women to enhance their natural lashes to eyelash extensions levels without the long spa appointments, maintenance, or uneven eyelash fall-out.
What is a Lash Lift? What is the Lash Lift procedure like?
The Lash Lift lengthens and curls (or straightens) your natural eyelashes for a healthy and lush look. No eyelashes extensions necessary! If done by professionals such as ours, a Lash Lift is safe and creates a more natural glam look that lasts the 2-3 weeks, just like your natural eyelash’s usual lifespan.
The Keratin Lash Lift procedure consists of silicon pads, safe glue, and a keratin cream. The silicon pads are glued to the bottom and top eyelids to

protect your eye and eyelid from the keratin cream. The keratin cream is carefully applied over the top lashes with an eyelash brush and combed over the top silicon pads. The whole Lash Lift procedure takes about an hour. Many who get a Lash Lift also opt for a Lash Tint, darkening their lashes for a curled and mascara effect.
How does an eyelash lift differ from an eyelash perm?
A Lash Lift is similar to an eyelash perm but surpasses it in safety and results. Similar to a Lash Lift, perming eyelashes uses keratin but in a liquid form rather than a cream keratin. Another difference in perming lashes is the use of cotton pads rather than silicon pads to protect the eyes and eyelids. The utilization of liquid keratin and cotton pads makes perming eyelashes a little less safe.
Eyelash perms are outdated and can make eyelashes overly curly, leaving some with an undesirable look. The Lash Lift is a lift rather than simply curling, creating a naturally dramatic or subtle look.
How long do my natural lashes need to be?
We do not recommend a Lash Lift for those with lashes shorter than 9 mm. Consider growing them out with serums or lotions before pursuing an eyelash perm or lift.
Any aftercare tips?
Just like a perm, be sure not to get your lifted lashes wet for 24 hours after the procedure. We recommend showering beforehand so you won’t have to worry about getting your lashes wet until the next day. Avoid oil-based products getting in contact with your lashes to keep from losing your lift. Feel free to wear non-waterproof mascara, but be cautious with your curler as it can damage your lashes.
