It’s finally Spring, and finally time to let your skin see some sun! Best of all, Spring is a time to add some color to your wardrobe and your food! Because food never goes out of style, we would like to make one recommendation for you this March! Try making St. Patrick’s Pistachio Bread this month!

There are plenty of benefits to pistachios as it relates to skin. For one, pistachios contain Vitamin E which acts as an anti-oxidant. Above all, it protects the skin from UV rays which aids the prevention of skin diseases. Your skin will also look healthier and more beautiful! For those of us who have a wrinkle or two, the Vitamin E present in pistachios helps to fight the aging process of skin. The oil within the nut moisturizes the skin and keeps it from drying out. To strengthen the locks on your head and make them last by reducing hair loss, try an intake of pistachios. Not only are they delicious, but you can make plenty of other delicious desserts with them. Here’s what you’ll need to make this magic happen:
2 loaf pans
1 yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1/4 cup of vegetable oil
2 Tablespoons of Water
1 cup of sour cream
1/2 to 1 teaspoon of green food coloring
1 (3oz) pkg. pistachio pudding mix
1 teaspoon of almond extract
3/4 cup of chopped walnuts or pistachios

First, heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Get out your 2 loaf pans and grease them up, then pat the insides down with flour. In a separate bowl, mix all of the ingredients together until they are well blended. Pour an equal amount of the mixture into both the loaf pans. Put them in the oven and sit back for 40-45 minutes while they bake. Once the timer goes off, remove them from the oven and let them cool for 10 mins. before removing the loafs from the pans. Serve and of course, enjoy!
